About Us

Industrial projects with more than 30 years of experience

The roots of Porin Teollisuusputki go back more than 30 years. Over the decades, we have achieved a significant position as a manufacturer of and expert in industrial pipelines in Finland and the Nordic countries.

The steady growth is the result of our long-term and professional work. PTP employs about 100 people, and our team of skilled professionals is complemented by a network of around 150 subcontractors, whose work we are responsible for as if it were our own. Our annual turnover is EUR 50 million.

We run our business in Pori, where the company’s office, warehouses and prefabrication unit are located. The high working space equipped with two 12.5-ton cranes enables the manufacture of even large components according to customers’ wishes.

Industrial projects with expertise

Industrial projects of various sizes are at the core of our business. We specialise in piping that meets the requirements set out in the EU Pressure Equipment Directive, and we also offer reliable and professional equipment installations, steel structures and maintenance services. We are a reliable partner that can implement even the largest industrial projects in all the Nordic countries, always ensuring high quality and safety.

The strengths of Porin Teollisuusputki include its long experience in the field and strong expertise in project management and administration, even in rapidly changing conditions. Our customers especially appreciate that we respond flexibly to changes in situations and according to their needs. We are also a trusted partner in maintenance
whose expertise customers rely on.

Professionals in industrial pressure equipment units

PTP’s operations are based on an operations manual compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 3834-2 and EN 1090-1. High quality is guaranteed by qualified welders and an extensive welding procedure test portfolio including tests for special-purpose steels.

Porin Teollisuusputki has continuously developed its quality system and operating methods. The quality documentation level is the responsibility of a project secretary, who compiles the materials received from the construction site to meet the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive. The client’s special needs regarding documentation are also taken into account, and the whole is implemented in accordance with the wishes of all parties, such as the client and the pressure equipment inspector.
