Porin Teollisuusputki is a Class A gas installation company approved by Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency (Tukes) with extensive experience in demanding gas pipelines, such as oxygen and hydrogen pipelines with equipment installations.
Our qualifications in the installation of gas pipelines ensure that we are able to take into account the high purity and quality requirements for gas pipelines. This guarantees a functional and safe plant.
Expertise in safety-critical gas systems
The gas pipeline may serve as a supporting function, such as a natural gas transmission pipeline used for heating or the internal welding gas network of a shipyard. In addition, gases such as oxygen, argon or nitrogen can be produced in the process for sale. From the point of view of the Pressure Equipment Act, it is essential to remember that, due to the higher potential energy stored, the risk classification applied to their manufacture is stricter than that for a liquid medium. There are specific laws governing liquid and natural gas which set out the requirements for operating as an installation company. In addition, Tukes’ instructions concerning chemical pipelines must be taken into account in pipelines for flammable gases, for example.
